This week.... I truly cannot believe that the stars aligned for this to happen.
No words.
Enjoy.
PS That first sound you hear post-theme song is me taking off my glasses in mortification. #themoreyouknow #Ideservethis

This was supposed to herald the beginning of our break, not the middle of it (oops).
Anyways, please enjoy a Ger performance of surprising depth and power, hidden in a movie that asks, "What if your wife was sexually harassed by your father, AND YOU CHOSE TO SEND HER TO A MENTAL ASYLUM BECAUSE HER CRYING WAS CRAMPING YOUR STYLE?" PS The husband is supposed to be the hero in this.
Buckle up, kids.

We're still on break until probably mid-September. Go feed your Ger needs by seeing him in The Tempest in The Stratford Festival, now through October 24, 2026 (and also an Italian play called Saturday, Sunday, Monday).

This week: an older, better Robocop.
Come for the inexplicable sexual tension between Ger's character, Martin, and his older-but-still-attractive co-worker, Lewis (har har); stay for the total lack of attempts to hide that this was filmed in Toronto with a predominantly Forever Knight-based cast.
There's also a plucky 12 year old girl named Gadget! And a pompadour!

Ger's character visits Florida to try to buy the rights to a song from a hapless British bartender and his hot ex-girlfriend. A man with a ponytail foils his evil deeds. This will become a theme in his career.
Fun visual of the episode: he origamis himself a towel and makes out with extras for non-plot-related reasons.
Pure gold, A+, would recommend. Catch Tropical Heat and the related documentary, Slaughter Nick for President on Tubi.
Also, PS, we're still running the MS Society 5k until June 30, 2026. Get your "I definitely ran and want a prize" emails in to gercangetit@gmail.com, subject line "Raffle entry".

This week, Ger is foiled by another 20-something psychic woman who sees ghosts and/or visions.
It happens.

This week, we set the psychiatric profession back a few millennia with Ger's electroshock-loving doctor whose worst crime appears to be in operating a free-range mental health facility.

This week, we re-evaluate Hamlet.
Specifically, we re-evaluate who the protagonist of the play is/should be.
It’s Ger.
It should be Ger.
As Rachel says, Shakespeare Daddy™️ came home this week, for which we are all incredibly thankful.
Next episode: back to garbage!
