  • Leverage Your Life: Seek first God's Kingdom
    Jan 11 2026

This is the second message of six in this sermon series.

What if the Christian life isn’t about working harder for God, but about getting out of the way so God can work through you?

Most of us approach our faith like a to-do list. We serve on teams, attend events, give our resources, and check the boxes. We’re doing things for Jesus. And we’re exhausted.

But what if we’ve been thinking about mission all wrong?

The mission of God isn’t another program to join or another commitment to squeeze into your calendar. Mission is simply Jesus living His life through you – at your job, in your neighborhood, with your family, through your everyday rhythms. It’s not something you do for Him. It’s who He is in you.

Over the next six weeks in “Leverage Your Life,” we’re going to discover what it looks like when a church stops just doing religious activities and starts living on mission together. We’ll learn how to seek first the kingdom in a world competing for our attention, deepen our devotion when distractions are everywhere, stick together when culture pulls us apart, think multiplication instead of just addition, and engage our city with the hope of Jesus.

This isn’t about adding more to your plate. It’s about leveraging your whole life – your work, your home, your community, your story – for the kingdom. Because when Jesus lives His life through us, everything changes.

See you this Sunday at 10:30am - we’re located at 1001 Hoffner Avenue, Orlando, FL 32809.

  • The Unexpected Savior: Unexpected family.
    Dec 15 2025

This is the second sermon in The Unexpected Savior teaching series.

We love a good underdog story – the team from the small school on the wrong side of the tracks wins the state championship, the shy girl is crowned prom queen, the mild-mannered guy saves the town.

But when it comes to God’s rescue plan for the world, people didn’t want an underdog. They wanted a warrior. God’s people had been waiting for centuries for the promised Messiah. What they expected was a military leader who would overthrow Rome, restore Israel’s former glory, and rule from David’s throne in Jerusalem.

But the Son of God showed up as a baby, born to an unmarried teenager in a cave used for farm animals.

Everything about Jesus defied expectations. His family’s past had some scandal. His first worshipers were blue-collar shepherds and pagan astronomers. The kingdom He announced had no army, no borders, and no throne. Every time He spoke, Jesus challenged what people thought they knew about God.

In the Christmas story, we discover that God’s greatest rescue mission didn’t look anything like people’s expectations, and how that’s the most hopeful truth of Christmas. Because if God can work through unexpected beginnings, messy families, unlikely worshipers, and an upside-down kingdom, then He can work through our unexpected, messy, unlikely lives too.

See you this Sunday at 10:30am - we’re located at 1001 Hoffner Avenue, Orlando, FL 32809.

  • Exiles + Nomads: The story we're writing.
    Nov 10 2025

This is the sixth and final sermon in the Exiles + Nomads teaching series.

If you’ve ever felt caught between where you are and where you’re supposed to be—welcome. You’re not alone, and you’re not lost.

Maybe you feel like a stranger in your own life. Like you don’t quite fit in your neighborhood, your stage of life, or even your own skin. You’re somewhere between hope and giving up, and you’re not sure which direction you’re heading.

Here’s what might surprise you: two thousand years ago, a fisherman-turned-apostle named Peter wrote a letter to people who felt exactly like you do right now.

The book of 1 Peter opens with this: “To those chosen, living as exiles dispersed abroad...” (1 Peter 1:1)

    Exiles. Scattered. Displaced.

    Sound familiar?

That’s why we’re spending the next few weeks in Peter’s first letter – because what he wrote then is exactly what you need to hear today. We’re going verse by verse through 1 Peter to discover something that will change how you see your life: what if the displacement you feel isn’t a problem to fix, but a purpose to fulfill?

Join us as we uncover what it means to live with unshakeable hope when everything around you feels uncertain. You’ll discover that being an exile doesn’t mean you’re lost.

    It means you’re sent.

See you this Sunday at 10:30am - we’re located at 1001 Hoffner Avenue, Orlando, FL 32809.

  • Greater Than: Discernment is greater than.
    Sep 15 2025

This is the eighth message in the Greater Than teaching series.

The Apostle John wrote to people facing significant and faith-stretching challenges. A guy who stood shoulder to shoulder with Jesus and called out the lies his culture bought into.

We’re going to explore the three letters of John that are tucked away toward the end of the New Testament. John didn’t give us empty platitudes or fake religious speak, but honest answers to the questions that keep you up at night. Questions like, “What does integrity look like when everybody I know is cutting corners?,” and “How do I lead other people when I’m still figuring things out myself?”

Join us for “Greater Than” because you need truth that works Monday through Saturday, not just for Sunday mornings.

See you this Sunday at 10:30am - we're located at 1001 Hoffner Avenue, Orlando, FL 32809.
