Full Color Psycho is a raw philosophy podcast about seeing life in more than black and white. The show moves through grief, God, language, discipline, love, work, memory, culture, contradiction, and the strange little moments that reveal the whole pattern. Sometimes it’s a lecture. Sometimes it’s a prayer. Sometimes it’s a night drive, a voice note, a confession, a joke, or a thought that wouldn’t leave until it was spoken. Listen if you like your philosophy alive, your spirituality unvarnished, your humor a little unhinged, and your truth without the beige filter. ~|Soli Deo Gloria|~Full Color Psycho Philosophie Sciences sociales Tous les jours

I went to AutoZone for car wash stuff, and the sales manager asked someone on the phone, “Can you hold?”

    Which is fine.

But then my brain started doing what it does, because “Can you hold?” is not the same thing as “May I please place you on a brief hold?” And “sorry about that” is not the same thing as “thank you for waiting.”

Then I went to the car wash, watched people invent the least efficient line possible, got mad at truck drivers, defended truck drivers, noticed their sunglasses, fought with Armor All wipes, and remembered that people are not usually failing to think.

They are usually just thinking suboptimally.

    Anyway, watch your words.

There is no harm in what you say.

    Until there is.

  • #175 - The Beep Means Nothing
    Jun 24 2026

I bought printer ink, walked out of Walmart, and the alarm beeped.

Then someone said, “That was him.”

But a beep is not proof. A policy is not a law. And “it was not me” is not the same thing as “it was him.”

    That’s really the whole rant.
