Your host is Dalton McGhiey. Dalton is the Head Esports Coach for Springfield Public Schools in Springfield, IL, home of the Springfield Capitols. He was the 2024 National Association of Esports Coaches and Directors High School Coach of the Year. He served as the Competition Officer of the Illinois High School Esports Association and as a Scholastic Fellow for the North American Scholastic Esports Federation. He currently serves on the Esports Advisory Committee for the Illinois High School Association and teaches Honors Anatomy & Physiology at Lanphier High School in Springfield, IL, where he won the 2022 Horace Mann Rising Star Award for outstanding young teachers. Dalton is a 2013 graduate of Springfield High School and a 2018 graduate of Millikin University. He is a lover of trivia, baseball, and cooking and is a proud cat-dad to Jesse, James, and Auggie.
