Creating a plan to look and feel healthy is a never ending reality for us all. Many people seek the numbers on a scale to determine how healthy or unhealthy they are at the moment but there are many facets that play a vital role to good health. Mental, emotional and physical well being contributes to gaining wealth. Being in good health is a luxury and the price we'll all pay from our daily habits. Recognizing your habits and patterns can determine your outcome for longevity.

The journey of obstacles and challenges in dating, my faith walk and transitioning from a nurses aide to a Registered Nurse lead me to healing mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically. The last 24 years of my journey has been blissful. Life has many learning experiences, humbling moments and life lessons that fuel the passion in saving lives daily.

Community advocates and resources are bridging the gap on the east side of Cleveland this winter. The stigma associated with homelessness is distrust of other providers, bans from other shelters, mental or physical health concerns, or simply personal preference. Tis the season to be warm, happy and filled with hope for those who are seeking shelter to avoid being cold. Come and stay with a seasonal no barrier shelter that offers resources, meals and opportunities.

Metanoia Project, was formed in 2007 by a group of homeless outreach workers and advocates in response to a burgeoning unsheltered population in Cleveland. Operating a winter shelter for folks who can’t or won’t be served by the larger/traditional shelter system. Whatever the reason folks are outside, Our primary goal is to make sure no one freezes to death in Cleveland.

Once guests have been able to address their basic needs, we are also available to connect them with resources they may want and need like affordable housing, recovery services, and medical care. Our services are entirely voluntary and we do not require anything from guests who seek shelter other than adherence to our basic shelter safety rules.
