Do you ever find yourself wondering, "What am I even doing with my life?" Do you put yourself in "time-out" just to catch a breath? Do you ever feel like you belong to everyone else—your husband, your kids, the chores, the commitments—and somewhere along the way, you stopped belonging to yourself?

Well Mama, you are in the right place.

Faithful Mama Rising is a faith-filled podcast for overwhelmed moms who are tired of living in survival mode and ready to rise into the woman they're called to be.

This is where you'll start feeling seen, supported, and grounded again… where you'll reconnect with who you actually are and start leading your life on your own terms.

I'm Mitch—girl mama of two, wife to my hunk-o-hunk of lovin' husband, Andrew, and a former Mom-ster who once lived knee-deep in overwhelm, resentment, and loneliness. For years, I believed the right checklist or perfect schedule would magically fix everything. But no amount of planning stopped the Mom-ster from returning—and it definitely didn't help me feel supported or seen.

Through real conversations, faith, and learning to actually lead myself, I learned how to release the pressure of the endless to-do list, ask for help, reconnect with myself, and—get this—be playful again. My lips literally remembered how to smile.

And now? I'm here to walk this journey with you.

If you're ready to stop chasing quick fixes that only last three days, reclaim the woman God created you to be, and rise out of feeling stuck and into a life of grace, support, and purpose—these are the conversations for you.

So fold the laundry—or don't (honestly, it's clean, that's what matters)—and let's get our change on.

Have you ever come home to a mountain of things that needed to get done and felt the exhaustion hit before you even started? Have you ever stood in the middle of your own life — the one you love — and felt completely buried by it? Have you ever thought it's all up to me and felt the weight of that land in your chest before you could even take a breath?

Mama, that moment isn't weakness. But it might be telling you something you've been missing.

In this episode, I get real about a season that brought me to my knees — and how the overwhelm I was drowning in was spilling into every corner of my life. My mindset. My marriage. My identity. My faith. When everything feels like it's on you and you're running on empty, it doesn't just affect your to-do list — it affects who you are and how you show up for the people you love most.

What I discovered in the middle of it wasn't a productivity hack or a time management trick. It was a four-step method I call LEAD, and it's what kept me from losing myself completely in the mental and emotional load I had been carrying silently and alone.

If you've been white-knuckling your way through survival mode and wondering why nothing seems to be working — this episode is your reset.

In this episode we talk about:

    • Why mom overwhelm goes so much deeper than a packed schedule
    • How carrying the mental load alone drains your sense of identity and purpose
    • The way burnout shows up in your marriage before you even realize it's happening
    • Why getting back into your faith practice is the anchor that changes everything
    • The LEAD method — a practical framework to help overwhelmed moms slow down, realign, and move forward without losing themselves
    • How to stop letting your to-do list own you — and what to do instead

  • 15- Why Mindset Shifts Feel Impossible at First — and Why That Resistance Is Actually the Sign You're Growing
    May 5 2026

Have you ever pushed so hard to make a point land — with your kids, your husband, or even yourself — and felt it slipping further away the harder you tried?

Have you ever set an intention at the start of the day, reminded yourself a few more times, and then completely ignored your own advice by noon?

Are you grinding toward a mindset shift you know you need — but the harder you push, the more stuck you feel?

What if the resistance you're feeling right now isn't a sign that something is wrong — but a sign that something is about to break open?

I had a moment with my daughters recently that started as a parenting win and ended with me questioning everything — including myself. And honestly? I think you're going to relate to it way more than you want to.

In this episode I'm sharing what happened, what I realized afterward, and the question I couldn't stop sitting with. Because it turns out this isn't just a story about my kids. It's about all of us — and the way we try to force things that were never ours to force in the first place.

If you've ever pushed harder when something wasn't landing and wondered why it only made things worse — this one's for you.

We're getting into the Parable of the Sower, what it actually means to sow faithfully, and why the resistance you're feeling right now might be the best news you've heard all week. Come hang out with me for this one. I think you're going to leave lighter.

  • 14- I Believe in God—So Why Do I Still Feel So Alone?
    Apr 28 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

Have you ever felt like you're the exception to God's grace?

Like you know He loves people — you've seen it, you've read it, you believe it — but somewhere deep down you wonder if that actually includes you?

Like maybe you've made too many mistakes, asked for help too many times, or stayed stuck in the same pattern so long that even God is tired of waiting?

Or maybe it's not that dramatic. Maybe there's just one area of your life — one room — where you've quietly put up a restricted access sign and decided that particular struggle is too small, too embarrassing, or too insignificant for God to actually care about?

What if the distance you feel isn't Him pulling away — but you hiding?

    IN THIS EPISODE:

In this episode of Faithful Mama Rising, we're tackling one of the most common but least talked about struggles in Christian motherhood — feeling spiritually alone even when you believe. If you've ever felt like God is on silent mode, wondered if you've worn out your welcome, or convinced yourself that your problems don't qualify for His attention, this one is for you.

We're talking about the invisible prison we build around ourselves — the shame, the patterns, the hiding — and why that silence you're feeling isn't abandonment. It's an invitation waiting to happen.

We dive into Psalm 139, the Prodigal Son, and one of the most unexpected miracles in the Bible — the Wedding at Cana — and what Jesus' very first miracle tells us about the size of problems God is willing to show up for.

Spoiler: He turned water into wine at a party. Your problem qualifies.

    IN THIS EPISODE YOU'LL DISCOVER:

    • Why feeling alone in your faith doesn't mean God has left — and what's actually creating that distance
    • The story we tell ourselves about God that's completely human and completely wrong
    • Why you might be totally open with God in some areas of your life but have a restricted access sign on the door in others
    • What the Wedding at Cana reveals about the size of problems God actually cares about
    • Why God is a gentleman — and what that means for the silence you've been feeling
    • How to take one small step out of hiding and make it the invitation that changes everything
