Motherhood is messy, hilarious, exhausting, and sometimes a little inappropriate — and that’s exactly what you’ll get here.

FTK Moms isn’t your picture-perfect parenting podcast. Around here, FTK can mean F**k Them Kids, For Them Kids, or Forgive Them Kids — because let’s be honest, we’ve all felt all three at some point.

Hosted by two moms who know that motherhood is equal parts chaos and comedy, each episode dives into the real, raw, and unfiltered truths of raising kids while trying to hold onto yourself. From toddler meltdowns (theirs and ours) to mom guilt, postpartum struggles, marriage, friendships, and the surprising moments that make it all worth it — nothing is off-limits.

This is the podcast for moms who want to feel seen, heard, and reminded that they’re not alone. No filters. No fluff. Just big laughs, honest confessions, and a little therapy between friends. So whether you’re hiding in the bathroom, stuck in the never-ending carpool line, or savoring five sacred minutes of silence — plug in, pour a glass (wine, coffee, or both), and join the conversation.

  • When Your Daughter Becomes a Wife: A Mother-Daughter Transition
    Oct 9 2026
Lanaya is back—and this time, she’s stepping into an entirely new season as a wife.

But a wedding does not only change life for the bride. It also creates a new season for the mother who raised her, supported her and is now learning how their relationship will continue to grow as her daughter builds a family of her own.

In this episode, Winter sits down with Lanaya and Alicia to reflect on their wedding journey together—from the emotional and challenging moments of planning to the laughter, beautiful memories and small moments they will never forget.

Lanaya shares what it felt like to become a wife, while Alicia opens up about watching her daughter enter womanhood and marriage. They discuss the expectations they had, the moments when they disagreed, what the wedding day felt like from both perspectives and the parts of their relationship they hope to carry into this next chapter.

Winter joins the conversation not only as a co-host, but as their friend and wedding planner—the bonus person who helped them navigate the details, manage the chaos and enjoy the experience. Together, their story is a reminder that doing life with a village makes the hard moments lighter and the joyful moments even sweeter.

This episode is about more than a wedding. It is about motherhood, marriage, friendship, letting go, holding on and learning how to love one another through every new season.

  • I’m Ready to Fight: IEP Advocacy, School Chaos & the First Week Back
    Aug 26 2026
The first week of school is officially over, and let’s just say…we are surviving. 😅

After talking about all the emotions that come with going back to school, Winter shares what actually happened when Eli’s seventh-grade schedule was wrong, athletics was missing, and his dyslexia services were removed. What followed was four days of emails, anxiety, advocacy, and one mama who was absolutely ready for a fight.

We get real about IEPs, ARD meetings, special education services, standardized testing, overwhelmed teachers, poor communication, and the kids who fall through the cracks when they don’t have someone fighting for them.

Then, because motherhood never stays on one topic, we somehow end up talking about student loans, adult children who still need their moms, forgotten laundry, and Winter’s million-dollar idea for a laundromat with a bar.I

t’s raw, frustrated, funny, and very FTK Moms.

  • Back to School, Big Feelings & Hard Conversations | Parenting from Kindergarten to College
    Aug 19 2026
FTK Moms is back for Season 3—and we’re kicking things off with the excitement, anxiety, chaos, and big emotions that come with sending our kids back to school.
Winter and Alicia reflect on their children’s very different school journeys—from the first day of kindergarten and entering “big school” to navigating middle school, high school, football, and college. They share honest stories about school supply anxiety, IEPs and advocating for a child with autism and ADHD, communicating with teachers, changing friendships, growing independence, and the never-ending back-to-school logistics moms are expected to manage.
But preparing our kids for a new school year involves more than buying notebooks and planning the perfect first-day outfit. This episode also tackles the hard conversations parents need to have about vaping, drugs, sex, parties, social media, personal safety, and making good decisions when we aren’t there to protect them.

    In this episode:
    • Back-to-school anxiety for kids and moms
    • First-day memories from kindergarten through high school
    • Advocating for children with autism, ADHD, and IEPs
    • Building strong communication with teachers and school staff
    • Preparing kids for peer pressure, vaping, drugs, parties, and social media
    • Balancing fear with trust as our children become more independent
    • Why the tough conversations need to start earlier than we think
    • Finding joy in every season of parenting
We can let fear take over—or we can trust the lessons we’ve taught, enjoy the little wins, and watch our kids become who they’re meant to be.
Welcome to Season 3 of the FTK Moms Podcast—where motherhood is real, every child is different, and we’re all learning and winning along the way.
Subscribe, follow, and share this episode with another mom navigating the back-to-school season.
