  • 33. Ready Before It Happens: What It Takes to Ride the Rocket of Sudden Scale (Solo Show)
    Jan 13 2026

In this solo episode of Everybody Else, Wes explores how readiness and a clear sense of identity make it possible to stay aligned with your role when the chaos of sudden success demands more than talent alone. By zooming in on a defining moment in the early career of legendary rock drummer Sandy Gennaro, the episode unpacks the invisible work (years of repetition, service, and self-knowledge) that prepares a person to carry scale when it finally arrives. It’s a reminder that while talent can open the door, staying in the room requires an entirely different skill set.

Listen to the full interview with Sandy's on Everybody Else.

Recorded on December 30, 2025 at Wally Opus Sound Studios in Evansville, Indiana.

This episode looks at how high performers stay grounded, protect their attention, and create the conditions for clean, confident decision-making.
