Coming from a finance and management consultancy background, Ravin Jesuthasan has been applying his powers of analysis to the question of how people and organisations make decisions about work for almost two decades. In that time he has written books on transformative HR and the concept of work without jobs. In this episode, Ravin tells host Kevin Empey about how the 'job' has been a basic building block of organisations for over 140 years - but the pace of non-incremental evolutions in work design is changing how we see jobs and ourselves as workers.
Jesuthasan believes that the world of work has changed forever but the current reinvention of work is exciting, creating real opportunities, and businesses need to bring everyone along on the journey.
