The animation mentioned in this episode is called 'John Henry,' a short film released by Disney on October 30th, 2000. It depicts the story of John Henry himself and a crew of other freed slaves helping to build the first American railroads and coming face-to-face with the threat of automation. Check it out if you're unfamiliar! We don't support The Mouse in this house, but it's a stunning and very important piece of animation (and US) history.
