Pumpkin Spice is a seasonal drink, like in life everything that happens is seasonal. Having one surgery in the beginning and about to have another surgery at the end of this year. Many changes have happened this year and many more will come. What is happening now is seasonal. The fears or being afraid of the unknown until the unknown happens. Then you realize you shouldn’t be afraid in the first place. We are human and it's normal to be afraid. Being brave and strong in the battle, sharing your story even though sometimes it can be scary. Getting through the difficult parts of your season will become seasonal next year. A reminder of what happened, but another reason why your old self is fading away. You become stronger and brave each day and each moment. Next year when it’s time for your Pumpkin Spice Latte, you will also remember how far you have come. How many others you have helped, and that you didn’t stop or give up during the toughest parts of your battle.
