In this episode of Echoes from the Lampstand, we examine the first trumpet of Revelation 8:7 and the message of the morning-time Church. Discover the prophetic meaning of hail, fire mingled with blood, and the burning of the trees and green grass. This trumpet reveals the power of solid truth, anointed by the Holy Ghost, to bring salvation to those who receive it and judgment upon those who reject it.

In this introduction to the Trumpet Series, we begin in Revelation 8 and lay the foundation for understanding the seven trumpets. Rather than beginning a new prophetic timeline, the trumpets take us back to the morning time of the Gospel Day and retrace church history from another perspective.

What do the trumpets represent? Who are the seven angels? Why must the ministry be prepared before sounding the trumpet? And what do the altar, incense, fire, and prayers of the saints reveal about Pentecost?

This message establishes a vital truth for the entire series: the trumpet represents the preached Word of God—the voice of Christ sounding through a God-called ministry. But possessing the message is not enough. Before the trumpet can give the sound God intends, the messenger must be filled with the Spirit of God.

Join us as we begin tracing the trumpet message through the Gospel Day and uncover the prophetic picture revealed in Revelation.

In this episode of Echoes from the Lampstand, we examine the opening of the Seventh Seal and the meaning of the “silence in heaven” described in Revelation 8:1. We trace the shift that took place after the glory of the sixth-seal reformation, as the once-clear message against Babylon and sectarianism gradually became muted.

We also consider the prophetic significance of the “space of half an hour,” the twofold judgment upon Babylon, and why the silence must ultimately be broken by another gathering message calling God’s people out of the systems of men and back to the unhindered operation of the Word and Spirit.
