À propos de ce contenu audio

When you take couch conversations about movies and turn it into a podcast, you get DISSECT THAT FILM. Hosts Brett, Dan and Angela take movies they love, hate and maybe have never seen and plot break them from beginning to end, bringing their own unique views on the movies brought to the table. Full of fun, humor and facts, DISSECT THAT FILM is the place to be. Also home to our monster themed show THE MONSTER ZONE, where we spin a wheel of monster movies and break down whatever we land on, with co-host Mikey Ward.

Episode 227: Happy Friday the 13th! Stew from the Stew World Order Podcast joins us as we venture towards the end of an era or more fitting, The Final Chapter, of the version of Jason Voorhees we've known since Part 2. Or has it faltered with age? Lets find out, this week, on the Dissect That Film Podcast.

      Feb 6 2026

In 1953, director Eugene Lourie directed one of the most influential monster movies of the century with "The Beast from 20.000 Fathoms". In 1959, he returned to unofficial take his hit and try and do it again with THE GIANT BEHEMOTH or BEHEMOTH: THE SEA MONSTER. With the help of effects master Willis O'Brien, would Lourie garner the same success with this one as he did with "Beast"? Let's find out, this week on THE MONSTER ZONE.
