The gang enjoyed a wonderful Friday evening discussing 1968 Best Picture winner In the Heat of the Night. The movie had a lot of admiration at the table and the regulars were glad to welcome Carla Maragano back to the podcast dinner table.

Since it was a Friday night we kept it easy on ourselves and Paul brought us in delicious Chinese. One of our more rich conversations--sit back, grab a chair and listen to a delightful evening on Wroe Avenue.

This week's Dinner with Dan had a very special guest--Judge Michael Merz. Dan declares Judge Merz one of the smartest people he knows. The gang was very excited to have him join us to discuss his favorite movie--1966 best picture A Man For All Seasons.

The discussion was more intellectual than usual with our special guest at the table. Words like character, integrity and institutions were discussed, making our brunch a great way to spend a beautiful Sunday on Wroe Avenue.

A German and Austrian feast was laid before the Gang tonight to discuss 1965 Best Picture The Sound of Music. Kate and Nan went all out with yummy delights, in spite of Kate not feeling her best. Still, we all perked up with discussion of this movie. Nostalgia reigned supreme for many of the table regulars. And Paul finally likes a musical!
