1 John 3:19 NIVThis is how we know that we belong to the truth and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence. When I think about purses, bags, backpacks, or wallets, I think about what is inside them that we MUST carry, we must protect, and we MUST have with us at all times:IdentificationPhoneWallet (credit/debit cards, money, receipts, access cards)KeysSunglasses/sun blockWaterMints/gumHand sanitizerMakeupHair tiesEar budsIn essence, we carry what is potentially our persona. Everything in our belongings says so much about us, but more importantly, it gives value to each piece. It is a very big part of us, and without them, we likely would be dysfunctional. Parallel to this, each piece is important, especially when we align with God. We see how He gives us provisions to function:Identification: I am a child of GodPhone = Bible: has everything I need.
