If you're like me, you often cringe at the expression "Believe in Yourself". It's a cliché and an overused statement but maybe there is something to it. Marissa Schmidt and I discuss what it means to believe in your work and how to tune out those inner voices of doubt. All creatives struggle with these doubts and insecurities and sometimes we just need to get honest with ourselves and one another about them.

Let's face it, this year has been challenging in more ways than one. I have struggled to find the motivation to do much at all outside of my regular photoshoots. My podcast and my videos really took a backseat. I'm sure many of you have faced a similar lack of motivation, yourselves. As we look forward to 2021, may we all grow in our inspiration, in our creativity and in our efforts to inspire others with our work! 

Tonya Wilhelm of Northumberland, Pennsylvania joins me on the podcast to tell us about her excellent work in composite, macro and portrait photography. Some people just have an innate talent for really creating unique images and Tonya is doing some amazing stuff! We talk about the importance of finding your niche early on but at the same time having outlets for other expressions of your photographic interests.
