  • Your Daily Boarding Call | Carnival’s Scooter Warning, Airlines Face a Data Probe & Rachael Ray Heads to Sea! 🎃🚢✈️🍽️ - Oct 30 2026
    Oct 31 2026

Today’s Halloween-flavored Your Daily Boarding Call mixes cruise safety, airline privacy, celebrity chefs, and a little holiday cheer.

Carnival Cruise Line is reminding guests that mobility scooters must fit completely inside their staterooms, and oversized devices could lead to denied boarding if they can’t make alternate arrangements.

Meanwhile, the FTC is investigating how airlines and other companies use personal data in pricing, including whether browsing behavior, loyalty information, or other consumer data could influence individualized fares.

On the fun side, Rachael Ray is joining Chefs Making Waves 2027 aboard Norwegian Jewel alongside a lineup of celebrity chefs.

And Very Merry Margaritaville is returning for the holidays with festive shows, Santa appearances, ugly sweater fun, and seasonal cocktails.

The Travel Tip of the Day reminds cruisers using mobility devices to verify size, storage, battery, and accessibility requirements before embarkation day.

  • Your Daily Boarding Call | Carnival Luminosa Heads to Baltimore, ‘Crew Love’ Stickers Spark Debate & Port Canaveral Honors a Legend! 🚢💳⚓ - Oct 29, 2026
    Oct 30 2026

Today’s Your Daily Boarding Call brings a major Carnival deployment change, a somber update on Island Princess, a new gratuity debate, and a special Port Canaveral tribute.

Carnival Luminosa is heading to Baltimore beginning in November 2028, joining Carnival Miracle and giving East Coast cruisers more options for Bahamas, Bermuda, Canada, Caribbean, and longer itineraries.

Meanwhile, Island Princess experienced a brief departure delay in Greece after a 69-year-old American guest was found unresponsive in his stateroom. Authorities reported no indication of foul play, and our thoughts remain with his family and loved ones.

Carnival is also drawing attention for new “Crew Love” stickers appearing on some Sail & Sign cards for guests who prepaid gratuities, prompting plenty of opinions from cruisers about whether tipping information belongs on their card.

Plus, Port Canaveral is honoring longtime commissioner Jerry Allender, with plans to rename Jetty Park Drive in recognition of his decades of service.

The Travel Tip of the Day reminds cruisers to understand their cruise line’s current gratuity policy before boarding to avoid surprises on the onboard account.
