Episode 242 – A Tall Order

This week on Crazy Little Thing Called Lovdev, I've been testing the limits of my stomach with a calorie disaster, reflecting on a recent corporate comedy gig at a golf club, and looking back at my solo show Half Soaked at the Birmingham Comedy Festival.

Over on Reddit, someone's discovered a vending machine that's been giving away free drinks for years, while another person finds that buying an electric bike to make life easier has had quite the opposite effect.

Episode 237 – Grip of the Dead

This week on Crazy Little Thing Called Lovdev, there's a real mixture of funny, strange and slightly more personal stories.

I talk about a recent corporate event, as well as the sad loss of my uncle.

Puns Without Pictures returns after receiving some surprisingly positive feedback, and we head back down the Reddit rabbit hole for a confession involving some seriously committed revenge on a landlord and a very British rant about “Baby on Board” signs — which reminds me of something I witnessed myself.

There's also a little history behind Rock, Paper, Scissors, before Weird News finishes things off with a bizarre story involving a patient and a skeleton that gives this week's episode its rather sinister title.

Episode 236 – The Tunisian Princess Diana

I'm back! There was no episode last week because I swapped the microphone for a holiday in Djerba, Tunisia.

This week's episode is a little different. No Reddit rabbit holes and no Weird News — just me catching you up on the holiday.

I talk about our villa, exploring Djerba, visiting the historic El Ghriba Synagogue, some of the people we met along the way and, somehow, encountering what I can only describe as the Tunisian version of Princess Diana.

It's basically half an hour of holiday stories, observations and me jabbering on about Tunisia.
