This week, host Mhairi Main Garcia is joined by London Projects Partner Daisy East to discuss financing the road to net zero in the mining and commodities sector. The discussion focusses specifically on mining and metals, a space in which the projects are complex with often competing challenges and demands, particularly when considering ESG, new technology and increasing and changing demands. 

In this episode, we look at the current status of the sector in its drive to net zero, the importance of both funding and consistent political and regulatory support and the most important steps that can be taken in the sector to achieve success.  

Daisy advises on the financing aspects of projects across the energy and infrastructure sector ranging from power generation to mining and metals. Her experience includes conventional loan type financing as well as convertible notes at a senior and mezzanine level.
