    • What Did You Say? | Minor Prophets

Ever misheard the lyrics to your favorite worship song? Those funny misinterpretations set the stage for a powerful exploration of what it truly means to hear God's voice in a noisy world.

In this compelling message, we dive into the book of Micah—one of the twelve Minor Prophets whose small book carries an enormous message. Micah, an ordinary person from a small town outside Jerusalem, received an extraordinary vision: for the first time in biblical history, God declared that destruction would come to Jerusalem if its people didn't return to Him. Imagine the courage required to deliver such devastating news to powerful people in the capital city!

Despite the stern warnings, Micah's prophecy wasn't without hope. God promised to preserve a "remnant" of faithful believers who would eventually rise up strong. Throughout history, God has consistently preserved these remnants of faith—people who remain committed to Him despite societal pressures. Many of us stand on the spiritual foundation built by faithful ancestors who prayed for future generations.

At the heart of Micah's message lies a deceptively simple instruction found in Micah 6:8: "He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God." These three requirements aren't complicated to understand but require genuine character transformation to live out. "Do justice" by treating others fairly. "Love kindness" by genuinely delighting in showing kindness. "Walk humbly" by recognizing who God is and who we are in relation to Him.

Join us on this journey through Micah's timeless message and discover how to stay the course in your walk with God. Don't let the world distort the lyrics of how you follow Jesus—listen to His voice and keep moving forward with Him.

    • Good Father

Your Heavenly Father sees you, knows you, and has a purpose for your life. This Father's Day message delves into the profound truth that God is the perfect model of fatherhood—one who gives fish instead of serpents, eggs instead of scorpions.

What does it mean to be a good father? Through personal stories of fishing adventures and campfire devotionals, we explore how earthly fathers can reflect God's heart to their children. The challenge for every man is clear: Will you speak blessing or curse? Will you provide nourishment or poison? Will you pass down generational brokenness or break the cycle through surrender to Christ?

Luke 11 reminds us that even imperfect fathers know how to give good gifts to their children—how much more will our Heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask! This empowerment is what transforms ordinary men into extraordinary fathers who can say with confidence, "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."

Whether you're a father struggling with your own father wounds or seeking to leave a godly legacy for your children, this message offers hope. True courage isn't found in stoic independence but in humble dependence on God. It's found in asking forgiveness when you fail, getting back up when you fall, and modeling authentic faith for the next generation.

The greatest Father's Day gift you can give your family isn't material possessions but a heart fully surrendered to Jesus. Join us as we discover how to knock on the right doors, seek God's direction, and live as men who reflect our good, good Father.

    • Pentecost | On Fire
      Jun 9 2025

What happens when a young churchgoer's spiritual mountaintop experiences collide with the reality of everyday teenage life? Our pastor takes us on a deeply personal journey of his first encounter with the Holy Spirit—an uncoerced, transformative moment that sparked a lifelong understanding of what it truly means to be on fire for God.

The tension is familiar to many believers: experiencing powerful moments in church while fighting God for control the moment we walk out the doors. "I wanted to feel good, I wanted to believe," he confesses, "but I also wanted to do my own thing." This raw honesty unlocks a profound truth about Holy Spirit baptism—it's not primarily about the spiritual feelings we crave but about empowerment for obedience to God's calling.

Through a powerful examination of Pentecost and the early church's experience in Acts, we discover how God's presence moved from dwelling in temples to residing within believers. The transformation of Peter—from a fearful denier to a bold proclaimer—illustrates what happens when we surrender control and allow God's Spirit to work through us. "Your small yes turns into the big change that happens in the world because you consistently say yes to God."

The message culminates in a life-changing truth: God's eternal plans far exceed our limited vision. When we trade our personal ambitions for divine purpose, we become vessels through which God can reach our families, communities, and beyond. "He wants to do something in you and through you that's greater than your plan for your life." Are you ready to be empowered by surrendering control and embracing what He wants to do through your life?
