ललितपुर महानगरपालिकाका मेयर चिरिबाबु महर्जनले अमेरिकाका केही शहरको तुलनामा ललितपुरमा फोहोर व्यवस्थापन राम्रो भएको दावी गर्नुभएको छ । खसोखासको पोडकाष्ट कम्युनिटी कर्नरस्टोनमा सुरेश शाहीसँग कुराकानी गर्दै उहाँले अमेरिकाका केही शहरको फोहोर व्यवस्थापनबाट नेपालले सिक्नुपर्ने कुराहरु भएतापनि न्युयोर्क लगायतलाई संकेत गर्दै केही शहरको फोहोर व्यवस्थापन ललितपुरकै राम्रो भएको दावी गर्नुभयो । अमेरिकाका कार्यक्रममा आएर आएर धेरै कुरा सिकेको र देखिनेगरी ललितपुरमा लागु गर्ने उहाँले बताउनुभयो । एनआरएनहरुलाई एनआरएन नागरिकता प्राप्त गर्न सहयोगका लागि महानगरपालिका र अन्तरगतका सबै वडाहरु तत्पर रहेको उहाँले बताउनुभयो । ललितपुरबाट चोरिएका मूर्ति, कलाकृति र सम्पदा नेपाल फर्काउन र पहिलेकै स्थानमा पुनस्र्थापना गर्न आफूहरु प्रतिबद्ध रहेको उल्लेख गर्दै ढुवानी खर्चको अभावमा नेपाल फर्काउन समस्या भएका मूर्ति, कलाकृति र सम्पदा आफूहरु ढुवानी खर्च बेहोर्न तयार रहेको उहाँले बताउनुभयो । महर्जन हालै अमेरिका भ्रमणमा आउनुभएको बेला गरिएको कुराकानी ।
