The Alchohol, the substances, the chronic social media consumption, sex, TV shows is not the problem: there's a deep pain beneath the substance.

Our brain tries to show that by bringing up feelings for us to process: feelings from past hurt, betrayal, divorce, grief but when we neglect that Clarion call, it doesn't go away.... it just stores up.

This episode highlights the brain process with substances that we've used to avoid doing the work.
