We're back with our episode-by-episode discussion of Prime Video's CARRIE, and Episode 3 is where this adaptation starts making major changes from Stephen King's original story.
In this episode, Carrie discovers more about her telekinetic abilities, gets a glimpse of life outside her isolated home, and finally makes it to the party. Meanwhile, Chris continues to spiral, social media bullying escalates, and we start to see more of what makes these characters tick.
We also talk about Carrie and Tommy, Sue's relationship with Tommy, Billy Nolan, Margaret's increasingly unsettling storyline, Emilyn's mysterious presence, and what the changes from the book and previous adaptations could mean for where this series is headed.
