    • New Year, New Vibes! Bedtimes, Parents' Night OUT, Big Headlines & 2026 Mom Goals
      Jan 7 2026

Happy 2026! The Between Us Moms podcast kicks off the year with a fresh new format and some fun new segments. This week, we dive into “Mom Yay or Nay of the Week” with Hallie’s bold move of pushing back her kids’ bedtimes for a little more sleep—and some real talk from Katie about a super fun parents’ night out. It involves many cocktails -- and the parents' from Kaia's school! It's a total YAY. Katie also shares her family’s new New Year’s Day tradition and spills the tea on a game-changing Costco travel hack. Plus, we talk about why eating like total garbage over the holidays is definitely relatable and a-ok. 😂

In our new segment “Headlines That Made Us Text Each Other,” we debate:

      • Tom Brady’s cozy moment with Alix Earle -- and his yacht hang with Leonardo Dipcario (why is it giving creepy grandpa?!)
      • Zach Bryan’s whirlwind marriage and why Brianna Chickenfry is winning
      • North West’s nose piercing and that jaw-dropping 106-carat pendant. What even?!

We also share our intentions for 2026 and highlight what’s “IN” this year in the all-new Mom Algorithm segment. Tune in for all the laughs, hot takes, and the perfect mix of mom life and pop culture!

    • 2025 Year in Review: What We Learned in Life, Work & Motherhood
      Dec 3 2025

It’s the final episode of 2025, and the moms are here for a cozy, chaotic, and heartfelt catch-up just in time to close out the year. In this chat, Katie and Hallie swap stories from the trenches, laugh through the madness, and share the lessons and intentions they’re carrying into the new year.

      ✨ This Episode:

      • Hallie vs. Chicago Snow: Hallie gives us the real talk on parenting in freezing temps. Bundling kids, battling ice , and trying to maintain sanity in Midwest winter? It’s HARD raising kids in the cold!

      • Katie’s Disneyland First-Timer Adventure: Katie took her girls to Disneyland for the very first time—and yes, she cried (in a very mom-at-Disney way). She also opens up about finally discovering the root of her youngest daughter’s months of fussiness… ALLERGIES. A reminder to trust your gut, ask questions, and always advocate for your babies. She explains what is going on!

      • 2025 Year in Review: The moms reflect on what this whirlwind year taught them—about themselves, career and work, and in their motherhood journeys. Growth, grace, grit… and a whole lot of fun.

Thank you for being part of our little community this year.

      New episodes return January 2026!

Until then, happy holidays and hang in there, mamas. You’re doing amazing. ✨

    • From Outrage to Action: Kitty Brandtner and the Fight to Ban Assault Weapons
      Nov 26 2025

On this episode of Between Us Moms, we’re joined by Kitty Brandtner, the founder of March Fourth, a nonpartisan movement fighting for a federal ban on assault weapons.

After the Highland Park shooting on July 4th, 2022, Kitty woke up the next morning — heartbroken, angry, and unwilling to go back to “normal.” In her words, “I woke up on the 5th of July and was like, really spicy and pissed… I just wanted to go to D.C. and scream at the top of my lungs that I want a federal ban on assault weapons.” She posted her email on Instagram, took a deep breath (and a Xanax), went to bed — and woke up to more than 300 messages from people across the country who felt the same way. From that moment, March Fourth was born — a movement formed by accident, powered by hope.

In this conversation, Kitty shares what motivated her to take that first step, why March Fourth has stayed intentionally nonpartisan (“We’re not here to tell you how to vote — we’re here to ask if you believe we should end mass shootings”), and what it will really take to get a federal assault weapons ban through Congress. She also offers simple, concrete actions that any of us — from our own homes — can take to help move the needle on gun safety.

This episode is raw, motivating, and full of heart — a reminder that you don’t need to be an expert or an activist to make a difference. Sometimes, you just have to decide you can’t go back to work tomorrow.
