      Three women from Marin County and one from San Francisco are among the victims of one of the deadliest avalanches in the state’s history. KCBS Mike DeWald reports from Marin County, where friends and family are speaking about the tragedy. Temperatures dropping below freezing in parts of the Bay Area, and emergency homeless shelters are filling up with folks coming in from the cold. KCBS's Matt Bigler reports from a homeless shelter in the East Bay with more Oakland native Alysa Liu has won gold in Italy. She is the first American woman to win for single figure skating in over two decades. KCBS' Shannon Golden got to watch Liu's gold-medal performance alongside spectators at one of the rinks the new gold medal champ calls home.
