  • The Wound Quietly Running Your Successful Life
    Jul 2 2026

You built discipline, faith, and a strong work ethic on top of a foundation you never examined, and now the wins feel hollow no matter how well you perform.

Before you go any further, take the free GAP Check. Seven questions, about 10 minutes, no email required. It will show you which area of your foundation is most cracked before you decide what to do about it. https://chatgpt.com/g/g-6a0f5e6b47788191b8a8c56ef78bd7c1-the-gap-check

In this episode, Ryan breaks down why so many capable, faith-driven men hit a ceiling they cannot explain. You can stack good things like discipline, faith, and effort on top of a cracked foundation, and under enough pressure it all starts to give.

The problem is rarely a skills problem. It is a foundation problem. Most men are building on wounds, false identity, and fear, then mistaking the cracks for personal failure. That is not failure. That is a foundation that was never set right in the first place.

Ryan walks through what the wrong foundation produces and what the right one looks like. The right one is built on sonship in Christ, settled worth, and clear calling. When those three are in order, the foundation becomes load-bearing and your life stops crumbling every time the weight increases.

Then he gives you the bridge between the two: the Wound Audit, drawn from his book Wounds and the Wound Analysis Framework. Three moves. Acknowledge the hurt. Realize the effect. Unlock your greatness.

    Key topics

    • Why good men build on the wrong foundation without ever knowing it
    • The hollow wins, plateaus, and missing peace that signal a cracked base
    • Sonship, settled worth, and calling as the bedrock God designed
    • The Wound Audit and how to run it on one specific wound

Main takeaway Your wins feel empty because you are performing to prove a worth that was already settled at the cross. The fix is not more effort. It is a rebuilt foundation.

The insight that anchors it all You are not going back to the wound to live there. You go back to rebuild from there. You have been transformed, not reformed, not improved. Name the wound you have been working around instead of working through. That is where the unlocking starts.

  • You Were Trained to Perform. God Called You to Become.
    Jun 25 2026

Most men don't have a motivation problem. They have a foundation problem, and they've been building on the wrong one for years.

Take the free GAP Check before you go any further. Seven questions, under 10 minutes, and it will show you exactly where your gap lives: https://chatgpt.com/g/g-6a0f5e6b47788191b8a8c56ef78bd7c1-the-gap-check

You built the life. You check the boxes. And somewhere in the middle of all of it, you feel nothing.

That is not a character flaw. That is a foundation issue. And in this episode, Ryan breaks down exactly why high-performing men keep arriving at the same hollow place, no matter how much they accomplish, and what it actually takes to stop performing and start becoming.

    Here is what gets covered:

    • The five markers of the performing life and why good men get trapped there without ever naming it
    • The five markers of the becoming life and what they produce in your faith, your marriage, your identity, and your brotherhood
    • A real coaching story of a man whose marriage was on the edge, whose wife eventually said, "I don't know what you're doing, but it's different," and what it took to get there
    • The five realities of the shift from performing to becoming, and why inspiration alone will never get you across that line

The core insight of this episode is simple and it is hard.

You cannot add becoming to a performing foundation. You have to rebuild from a different starting point. You can put the best shoes on the wrong foundation and it is still the wrong foundation.

The second insight is this: becoming is not a solo project. Performing identities thrive in isolation. Becoming requires brotherhood. God wired you that way from Genesis to Revelation, and nothing has changed.

  • You Reached the Goal. So Why Do You Still Feel Empty?
    Jun 18 2026

You have been working hard your entire life. The problem was never your effort. It was your aim.

Take the free GAP Check before you do anything else. It will give you a straight answer on which area of your life is most out of alignment and exactly what has been driving it: https://chatgpt.com/g/g-6a0f5e6b47788191b8a8c56ef78bd7c1-the-gap-check

Most men who feel empty after achieving something significant do not have a discipline problem. They have a direction problem. In this episode, Ryan breaks down exactly why the strategies that got you here, working harder, behavior modification, reading more books, attending more events, pushing through the hollow and calling it discipline, have never been able to fix what is actually broken underneath. The treadmill is a picture of all of it. Maximum effort. Zero distance.

Ryan shares the moment in 2020 when he crossed a real financial milestone and discovered that the anxiety had not left with the money problems. Different address, same feeling. He also shares the 2019 moment he found himself in the corner of his office, unable to function, over the fear of losing one client. Not because the loss would have ruined him. Because his identity had quietly fused with his business and he had not realized it until that moment.

This episode names five moves men make when they feel off and five things that are actually broken underneath the surface. Identity without a settled foundation. Worth still tethered to outcomes. Wounds still writing the narrative. Beliefs and behavior running two different programs. Ryan walks through three diagnostic questions every man in this gap needs to sit with, and three action steps to take before adding one more system or strategy to the pile.

If you are in the gap right now, this episode does not hype you up. It gives you an honest diagnosis and a clear direction.

  • You Can't Fix What You Haven't Named
    Jun 11 2026

Most men don't have a performance problem. They have a diagnosis problem.

Not sure where your gap actually lives? I built a free tool that will tell you in under 10 minutes. Seven questions, no fluff, just clarity: https://chatgpt.com/g/g-6a0f5e6b47788191b8a8c56ef78bd7c1-the-gap-check

In this episode, I walk through the four symptoms every high-capacity man feels but can't name — a marriage that functions but isn't alive, self-doubt running underneath every achievement, a Sunday-to-Monday faith that never quite connects, and a loneliness at the top that no one talks about. Four symptoms. One root cause. And until you name it, you cannot fix it.

  • Why More Money Will Not Fix What Is Actually Broken
    May 28 2026

You are making more money than ever, and it is quietly costing you everything that actually matters.

Take the free GAP Check before you do anything else. It will give you a straight answer on which area of your life is most out of alignment and exactly what has been driving it: https://chatgpt.com/g/g-6a0f5e6b47788191b8a8c56ef78bd7c1-the-gap-check

Every man has a money script. It came from what he watched growing up, what he absorbed in the silence, and what those early experiences told him money was supposed to protect him from. That script does not disappear when the income grows. It upgrades. And the more sophisticated it gets, the harder it is to see.

In this episode, Ryan pulls back the curtain on his own story, including the gambling, the lies, the tight grip that looked like discipline from the outside, and walks through the three things every high-performing man needs to understand about his relationship with money.

This is not a financial planning episode. It is an identity episode. The money is just where the real issue is showing up.

What you will take away from this episode:

    • Why your money script is still making decisions for you, even if you have never heard it called that
    • The difference between being grounded in faith and gripping money with both hands while calling yourself a Christian
    • Why generosity is not the reward for finally getting your finances right, it is the move that changes your relationship with money at the root
    • The one question that tells you exactly where your identity is actually anchored

The moment that broke Ryan open was not losing the money. It was lying straight to Michelle's face about how much. That is not a financial failure. That is a wound running the numbers. And if you have ever responded to financial pressure in a way that did not match what you say you believe, this episode was made for you.

Ryan also shares something he rarely talks about publicly, what happened in May 2026 when he pulled up his own financials and found that his giving had quietly stopped. What he decided to do in that moment is one of the most honest things he has put on camera.

  • Ryan Holiday's Crash-Out Proves Stoicism Was Never Going to Be Enough
    May 14 2026

You can master every discipline in the book and still crack, because the problem was never your habits, it was your foundation.

Check out the Grounded Alignment Framework here: https://coach.ryanjamesmiller.com/mog

Ryan Holiday is the most well-known modern Stoic alive. His books changed lives, including Ryan's. So when Holiday publicly unraveled on camera, rolling his eyes and throwing a fit over politics, it raised a question worth asking.

How does the man who wrote the book on mastering your mind fail to master his mind?

This episode is not a hit piece. It is a diagnosis.

Ryan traces the pattern all the way back, from Marcus Aurelius wrestling with his temper his entire life, to Seneca preaching simplicity while dying one of the wealthiest men in Rome, to Chrysippus, one of the most important Stoic thinkers in history, who reportedly died from uncontrollable laughter. The irony is not accidental. It is a warning.

Every man who tries to build self-mastery on human wisdom alone eventually proves, either to himself or to the world, that it is not enough.

The issue is not intelligence. It is not discipline. It is foundation.

Ryan shares how Stoicism's practices genuinely helped him in 2019, during a brutal season of anxiety, overwhelm, and burnout. The JFK story from Holiday's book Stillness is the Key gave him a version of rest he could actually live with. It worked, for a while.

But the crack was always coming.

Because a habit built on the wrong foundation is not a solution. It is a delay.

The Grounded Alignment Framework gives you the alternative. Grounded in faith, not in philosophy. Authentic in action, living out who God says you are, not who your wounds or the world says you are. Purposeful in pursuit, chasing calling, not applause.

That is the difference between a life that holds and a life that eventually fractures under pressure.

The core takeaway from this episode is this. It is not a knowledge problem. It has never been a knowledge problem. It is a foundation problem. And the only foundation that does not crack is Christ.

  • How to Build Yourself Before You Build the Business
    Apr 30 2026

Most men build the business, the income, and the reputation before they ever build themselves, and then they wonder why everything shakes.

Become a Man of Greatness by joining our FREE Community - https://coach.ryanjamesmiller.com/mog

Ryan James Miller gets honest in this episode about where his business is right now, and why that gap between where he is and where he wants to be used to send him into a full anxiety attack. Today it does not. Not because the pressure is gone, but because something underneath him does not move anymore.

This episode is for the man who is producing at a high level and still feels like he is one bad quarter away from losing himself. The problem is not the business. It is not the strategy. It is that he built everything on top of an identity that was never settled.

Key topics covered in this episode:

    • Why high-capacity men are the most vulnerable to identity erosion
    • The difference between confidence tied to results and confidence rooted in who God says you are
    • What it actually looks like to feel peace in the middle of circumstances that should produce panic
    • Why a better morning routine is not the answer, and what is

The man who knows who he is before he does anything is dangerous in the best way possible. That is not a motivational line. That is the foundation every other area of your life depends on.

  • Why Successful Christian Men Still Feel Empty (And How to Fix It)
    Feb 19 2026

You can love God, lead well, provide faithfully and still feel like something is off.

If this episode hits close to home, take the Five Pillars of Greatness Assessment today and identify where misalignment may be costing you peace, clarity, and impact: https://coach.ryanjamesmiller.com/the-five-pillars-assessment

There is a type of man this conversation is for. He is respected. Responsible. Driven. Faithful. Yet privately he feels the tension between who he is and who he believes God created him to be.

In this episode, we unpack why success does not heal identity and how many Christian men are quietly compensating for wounds they have never fully confronted.

    Key Topics We Cover

    1. Why distorted or unknown identity drives unhealthy patterns
    2. The cycle of wound, false belief, overcompensation, and repeated fallout
    3. How acceleration without restoration multiplies instability
    4. Why performance-based identity keeps men exhausted
    5. What it means to lead from sonship instead of striving

One of the most powerful insights from this conversation: "If you do not confront your wounds, you will compensate for them."

We explore how men often overreact, overwork, or withdraw instead of acknowledging the root issue. We look at Genesis 3 and the instinct to hide. We examine Ecclesiastes and Solomon’s realization that achievement without alignment is vanity.

You will hear a practical diagnostic question you can use immediately:

Where do I overreact, overwork, or withdraw?

Instead of fixing everything at once, the first step is naming what is there. Restoration begins with honesty.

We also talk about the danger of building strategy on brokenness. As men, we are builders. But if the foundation is fractured, success only amplifies the instability. Like an unbalanced tire that feels fine at low speed but shakes violently when you accelerate, hidden misalignment becomes destructive as influence grows.

    Another key truth:

"You do not fight for identity. You fight from identity."

Gospel identity says you are a son first. Leadership flows from that foundation. Without restoration, authority becomes either harshness or passivity. With restoration, leadership becomes steady, grounded, and life-giving.

If you are a high-performing, faith-driven man who feels stretched between faith, family, health, and business, this episode will challenge you to slow down long enough to ask the deeper question:

Are you leading from wholeness or from compensation?
