Martin Cilia, Australia’s King of Surf Guitar has been prolific with his solo surf rock recordings as well as a number of albums with the legendary surf rock band The Atlantics, Dave Warner Band, Flying Fonzarellis, The Capitols, Blue Lounge, The Brookes and is currently touring extensively as lead guitarist with the legendary Australian pub rock band The Radiators and previously with Mental As Anything”. Martin has recorded on 29 albums, 3 Eps as well as numerous singles and in many compilation albums. He has and continues to tour nationally and internationally with numerous television appearances with various groups he has been a member of over the years.

Martin’s new “Instromania” album, his 11th solo album, is a collection of 12 original songs with guitar as the feature instrument. It’s strongly influenced by music from the sixties. “I love the sound of the electric guitar, especially the sound of a vintage Fender Stratocaster plugged into a vintage Vox AC30 amp, with some echo and reverb added for good measure.” Martin Cilia.

Martin has also been busy designing his ideal guitar and now the Martin Cilia Custom Guitar are available to guitarist around the world. The design incorporates the best features of several different guitar models Martin has recorded with over the years.

Bonnie Kay and the Sweet Patooties are a Sydney based 5-piece band of ladies playing sassy, bawdy blues and jazz from the 1920’s and 30’s and beyond plus their original music. They will bring the fun with 4-part harmonies, horn lines, dynamite soloists and a red-hot rhythm section: It swings, it drives, it jives, it will knock your socks off! The new album was recorded and mixed by Sean Carey at Church Street Studios.

The Sweet Patooties are Bonnie Kay (lead vocals, guitar), Carolyn Packer (piano, vocals), Catherine Golden (double bass, electric bass, baritone horn, vocals), Claire Hollander (trumpet, vocals) and Katie Glendenning (drums). They play monthly gigs at The Merton Hotel, The Ashfield Polish Club and Pyrmont Bridge Hotel and other regular gigs in the Sydney, Central Coast, Newcastle and Wollongong areas. They also played at the Thredbo Blues Festival, Girrakool Blues Festival, Kangaroo Valley Folk Festival, Blue Mountains Blues & Jazz Festival and the Newcastle Jazz Festival.

Bonnie Kay has released two previous albums ‘Handyman’ and ‘Fake It Until You Make It’ with Bonnie Kay & the Bonafides. Carolyn Packer has released three albums with her group Carolyn Packers Stompin’ Rhythm Aces. All members of the Sweet Patooties are veteran musicians and have played with many other groups over the years.

Michael is a singer-songwriter-guitarist from Brisbane Australia.

Michael’s previous singles; ‘Hello World’, ‘Irish Dawn’, ‘Hearts Of Joy’, ‘They Do Us Proud’; & ‘You Can Call Me Out’ all enjoyed widespread national radio airplay support across the Community Radio Network (CRN).

The ‘A Life In Song’ album was produced by TAXIRIDE guitarist-songwriter Tim Wild. Wild also contributed guitar, bass & harmony vocals with Carolyn Oates on drums.

The ‘A Little Bit Of Ireland’ EP was produced by Tim Wild who also played guitar & bass, with Carolyn Oates on drums with the multi-talented Matiss Schubert contributing fiddle, mandolin, button accordion and Irish whistle.

All recordings were mixed & mastered by David Carr at Rangemaster Studios in The Patch, Victoria.
