How do we move past a faith defined by rules and fear to experience the vibrant life God truly intended for us? In this powerful message, Father Bill Stanford addresses the common struggle of barcode Christianity, a mindset where faith becomes a mere checklist or label rather than a deep, transformative relationship. Drawing from Romans chapter 6, Father Bill explores how the Apostle Paul confronts the misconception that grace allows us to live however we want.

True salvation is not just about avoiding bad behavior or getting clean. It is an invitation to die to our old way of life and be completely remade. Through the imagery of baptism, Paul reveals that we are not just placed near Christ, we are grafted directly into Him like branches to a vine.

Are you tired of just trying to stay within the lines? God did not save you simply to stop sinning. He saved you for an overflowing life of communion with Him. This week, let go of the fear of failure and step into the fullness of your new identity, abiding deeply in the love of Christ.
