  • Spider-Man Falls & Captain America Flies
    Oct 1 2024

July 7th: Spider-Man is unmasked to the world and accused of murdering Mysterio. That evening, Sam Wilson debuts as the new Captain America while saving world leaders at a GRC meeting from a Flag Smasher attack.

On this show, Chip Ewing and Scott Higgins hope to discuss life after everything Thanos - both The Snap and The Blip. Scott is a member of "The Blipped" and Chip is one of those who were left behind. Together they will traverse the most important events in their lives and the world at large from their different perspectives.

In our third episode, we dig into the craziness of July 7th: everything that led up to it along with the next couple of weeks aftermath. The world was rocked twice in one day as The Daily Bugle led a charge against Spider-Man, revealed to be a teenage boy in high school. There was so much to talk about as the news moved bewilderingly fast. After everything is covered around Spider-Man, Mysterio, the incident in London, and the biases of J. Jonah Jameson; we turn attention towards Sam Wilson taking on the mantle of Captain America. A rewarding discussion ensues around the merits of this particular Captain America and why he may be just what is needed for this current moment.

Plus, a brief discussion on the Elemental attacks Mysterio was fighting, the tirades of The Daily Bugle against both the main heroes in our stories, and the revelation of the true second Captain America: Isaiah Bradley.

This episode was recorded on July 20th, 2024.

  • In Memory of King T'Challa - The Black Panther
    Jul 7 2024

May 3rd: T'Challa, the Black Panther and King of Wakanda, passed away from an incurable illness. Hosts Chip Ewing and Scott Higgins react to the moment and what it means for the world to lose both a hero and national leader.

Scott is a member of "The Blipped" and Chip is one of those who were left behind. Together they will traverse the most important events in their lives and the world at large from their different perspectives.

In our second episode, we dedicate most of the time to the passing of a great King and world leader. There are almost no national figures as beloved as T'Challa and it is undeniable that his legacy with Wakanda has re-shaped the world. Without him and Wakanda, the world would have slipped into even greater disarray after The Snap. We get into all of that, honoring a hero we admire and also discussing what his absence means for the Kingdom of Wakanda along with the rest of the world.

Plus, a brief discussion of recent events with the GRC, the fallout of John Walker, and increasing attacks by Elemental entities.

This episode was recorded on June 29th, 2024.
