      It has been a minute, but folks, the wait is worth it. I am beyond honored to share this episode featuring my incredible classmate, Gabi! No pregnancy journey is the same, let alone one during medical school. Gabi shares the unconventional way she discovered her pregnancy, and we hear about how she’s managing symptoms and asserting her needs while on rotations. She highlights the importance of finding supportive mentors and role models, in addition to the crucial support that her partner, family, and friends provide. A big take home message here is that the schedule of a career in medicine shouldn’t dictate life decisions. We can steer the ships of our lives! I hope this episode leaves you feeling as inspired as I was -- enjoy!
