In 2002, Michael Hodson bought the Cumberland Arms, Byker, Newcastle upon Tyne, a well established music, dancing and folk venue that had fallen on hard times.
This series of podcasts celebrates the Cumberland's 20th birthday this year. Michael tells the romantic tale of how he came to buy the Cumberland and how, with his younger daughter Jo, they set out on a voyage of adventure to bring the Cumberland back to life.
