  • Is Your Identity in Your Wins? | Ryan Harrison on Faith and Football
    Oct 10 2026

What happens when the success you’ve been praying for finally comes?

Casper Christian head football coach and athletic director Ryan Harrison joins Devin Davis on the 307 Faithful Podcast to talk about building a young football program, taking down one of Wyoming six-man football’s perennial powers, and learning how to keep success from becoming your identity.

Ryan shares how he challenges his players to enjoy the wins, rankings, and accomplishments God has given them without allowing those things to define who they are. For Ryan, the goal is bigger than football: developing young men whose identity is rooted in Christ and who know how to glorify God whether they win or lose.

He also shares his own story of learning to follow God’s direction. When Ryan and his wife had the opportunity to take jobs in the public school system and potentially make twice as much, they instead followed what they believed was God’s leading to Casper Christian. Today, Ryan says he’s living his dream job as a football coach and athletic director.

  • When God Says No: How I Learned to Trust His Plan
    Sep 30 2026

What do you do when the door you expected God to open stays closed?

Braxton Doak grew up in Green River, Wyoming, believing his future would likely stay close to home. After years of playing soccer, he made the unexpected transition to football, developed into a Division I-level kicker, and hoped his college path might lead to the University of Wyoming.

    It didn’t.

In this episode of the 307 Faithful Podcast, Braxton shares how recruiting disappointment, unanswered expectations, and an unexpected opportunity at Central Michigan forced him to confront a difficult question: would he trust God’s plan even when it looked different from his own?

Braxton talks about praying for direction during the recruiting process and receiving his first FBS offer shortly afterward. He also shares how arriving at Central Michigan helped him see that what initially felt like rejection may have been God redirecting him somewhere he needed to be.

The conversation also goes deep into the mental pressure of being a Division I kicker, why faith helps Braxton deal with expectations and fear of failure, and what he has learned about trusting the process instead of obsessing over the outcome.

Braxton also opens up about another major transformation in his life: realizing that pride had affected the way he treated teammates and other people. As his faith grew, he says God began changing his character, helping him become a more humble teammate and leader.

From football and recruiting to Scripture, FCA, humility, pressure, and learning to trust God one day at a time, this is a conversation about what happens when your plan changes—but your faith keeps growing.

If this episode encourages you, share it with someone who is struggling to trust God in an uncertain season.

What happens when your athletic dreams take you all the way to the Olympic stage—but you realize your identity was never meant to be found in sports?

In this episode of the 307 Faithful Podcast, Devin Davis sits down with Team USA bobsled athlete Sadie McMullen to hear her incredible journey from competing in track and field at the University of Wyoming to being selected as an Olympic bobsled alternate.
