Part 2 of the Auraria Campus History! In this episode we find out the results of the previous redlining efforts. The city of Denver uses the flood of 1965 as an excuse to write off the entire neighborhood and despite the valiant effort by residents, the neighborhood is demolished and replaced with the Tri-Campus space that it is today.

Before becoming a tri-college campus, Auraria was a mining camp to rival Denver, and then a beloved multi-cultural neighborhood of the city. But following a massive flood in 1965, this neighborhood was under threat of razing. Plus bonus story about the history of Tivoli Brewery!
