Mallory Newell is young, ambitious, and rising fast as an editor at a large New York publishing house. When it’s announced that one of the world’s best-selling authors is seeking an editor to join her for the holidays at her island paradise in Bora Bora, Mallory believes she is the logical choice.
Her boss has other ideas.
Instead of Bora Bora, Mallory is sent to Kansas City to help hometown sports writer Jake Springer complete a romance novel started by his late grandmother.
