Series Summary —

Wolves of Nývinter

The Ashfang Saga, Book I

In the year 3366 AC, the Echo Wolves, once scattered and broken by the White Christ’s Black Cross, stand reborn upon the frozen world of Nývinter. But their home, carved from storm and blood, is soon tested by a new horror from beyond the stars: the Harrowed, beings of needle and thorn, who crucify the living upon their own spines and sing hymns that shatter bone.

The saga begins with the massacre at Frost-Vein Outpost, where the first Wolves fall beneath the Silent Choir. From the ruins rise two figures destined to shape the war: King Julevic Sveynrson, rider of the great mechanised wyrm Farðnir, and Bloodmane Lokison, scarred son of Loki’s line, half-man, half-wolf, chosen to lead the desperate strike into the Harrowed’s mothership.

As Nývinter burns, the Wolves are beset on two fronts — the endless tides of the Order of the Black Cross, their hymns clashing with the Harrowed’s psalms, and the alien Choir itself, whose silent blades cannot be bargained with. From the trenches to the skies, the Wolves hold the line, their bullets dwindling, their claws rising, until they embrace the full curse of their werewolf blood.

The Wolves of Nývinter is a tale of survival and defiance. It tells of trenches carved in ice, of plasma fire that burns like false dawn, of a king who descends from the heavens upon a dragon of steel and frost, and of a warpack that dares to hunt a god-machine in the void.

It ends not with peace, but with oath. The Black Cross retreats to their holy world of Temparius. The Harrowed brood above the Rim. And the Wolves, bloodied but unbroken, swear to carry the war across the stars.

For theirs is a saga without end.
