    The novel in itself is a brilliantly written urban fantasy. The characters are jumping out of the page, even the secondary ones, and the world after the osiris serum discovery is fascinating, exciting, and gradually exposed as the actions take place.
    The reading is not only totally in tune with the qualities of the novel but adding to it. Renee Raudman’s beautiful voice is very pleasant to listen to and she masters the differences of paces, emotions and tones so well that she makes you feel you’re there with Nevada. She is also excellent at giving a different voice to everyone in the book. I enjoyed her reading so much that I purchased other books simply because she was reading them .
