    It's intelligent but easy to read; eccentric but never twee.
    I love the extraordinarily well-drawn characters, the plot, the tender, lovely relationship, the humour, and the courage to do daring things (Nina Stibbe)

    The dramatization makes the listening enjoyable and the story less monotonous but to put it mildly it gets really over-dramatized at times (often) which is not very convenient if you are using earplugs. It literally hurt my eardrums and I had to keep adjusting the volume back and forth which got annoying after a while.But I wouldn't have read this book if it wasn't for this audio format, so I'm glad for that.
