Description
Why do I have to have my tail in a knot for the one hot, sexy Werewolf who can't seem to keep his Johnson in his pants?
I'm a nice girl - really I am. I'm just a typical computer-hacking, knife-throwing, Star Trek-obsessed, overeducated Werewolf nerd who can't seem to get her love life to compute. However, it's time to grow up and face the music or, more accurately, the man I'm in love with...Junior, aka Jacob Wilson - the Alpha of the Georgia Pack. First I'll have to stand up to some nasty gals whose pants are so tight I can see their religion. Then I'll claim my man.
What should be an easy feat gets sucktastic when you throw in a 300-year-old fabulous gay Vampyre, an antiquated motherboard from the '90s, and a challenge from the vicious, deadly Alabama Pack. Not to mention a libido that is out of control. Mine.
So I'm just gonna dive in - headfirst and eyes closed. Love conquers all. Right? As long as reality doesn't wear me out, I plan to win.

Thank you for making me laugh
This series is most simply and purely funny.
The love stories get a bit convoluted but it all takes place in an alternate reality.
What I consistently enjoy (other than laughing) is how central family and family-like friends are in each novel.

Adorable book!
This is another excellent book in this series, with a delightful mixture of romance, comedy and drama, all spun with the classic Peterman humor!

Ugly duckling story, werewolf style
The series started great. But smart, sassy and campy has changed to silly, awkward and juvenile. Now it’s just a collection of audio gags (“Jesus in a jock strap”) and skits to showcase sex starved horn dogs. Which is unfortunate, because the basic premise of the fat, nerdy girl transforming into the strong, kickass (but still geeked out) mate for the alpha werewolf of a Georgia pack normally pushes all my nerdy nooky looving buttons.
Books 1&2 had great narrator Hollie Jackson and followed werewolf pair Essie & Hank. Book 3’s narrator was off and the romance detoured to dragons with Dima. This book gets back to weres with Sandy & Junior. I like the narrator a little better. But the story was barely there, mere pretext to get to the cheesy sex.
There’s one final book in the series; it’s free, short, and my OCD compels me to listen... but I’ll bump it up to 1.3x to pep things up and get ‘er done.

Two marriages and a shunning.
He is challenged as Alpha and Sandie is making a life altering decision. A little hacking and geeky fun ensues along with some serious trouble in the council.
Funny and great characters, I really enjoy this story.

I loved listening to this audio book! I laughed so hard and had so much fun with these characters. I would love to revisit them later to see what they have been up to and how their lives are growing.

Jr's romance
Suspense and humor as Jr and his true mate finally connect. An overall story arc has me recommending you listen to this story in order. We see a narration change, but with a new POV, it worked. Hollis McCarthy did an excellent job.

Were NERD
Junior is an off the charts Mensa Werewolf in love with Sandy since he was a teenager. Sandy is also an intellectual and a were-geek at heart. Between the two of them, their attraction beams like the Star ship Enterprise.
Sandy turns Junior down because of his man-whoring ways. Junior can't seem to say or do the right thing to capture Sandy's heart....mostly because he thinks with his nerdy brain and not with his heart. Between her BF Werewolf Esther and her Vampire BFF Dwayne, things go sideways, fast and it's up to Sandy to save the Alpha and the sheriff, all while attempting to pacify Dwayne's depression from having to wear Sandy's mother-in-laws old wedding dress.
Hollis McCarthy gives personality and drama to each character in this hilarious and dramatic family of misfits.
