When army officer Chike Ameobi is ordered to kill innocent civilians, he knows that it is time to leave. This story should win a reward. It was so compelling. Very well written and well narrated. The story came to life. I loved the characters, all very different from each other. I feel like I know know them lol. I loved the many surprises in the story and the serious thèmes it covered, with à gentle humour . This is my favorite book of the year
