some good advice, interrupted by annoying sidebars
When she finally gets around to the practical advice for making videos, it's gold. Far too much posturing and sidetracking with stories that are supposed to impress or just allow her to have fun. listen at double speed to get to the good parts

meh.
the book was meh, about half of the book was her going on these little interior dialogue quips that were honestly nothing but annoying. she cries for the last few minutes of the book and it was kind of embarrassing to listen to. a little less than half of the book was actually good usable content, and if we could get a shortened version of the book with just that in it, it probably would have been a decent book. every single time she went on one of those interior dialogue quips I felt the need to hit the fast-forward button, they were so dumb and dizzy blonde girl sounding that it really made me cringe. kind of seems like the biggest accomplishment in her life is the 5-minute ride to the airport she gave to Gary vaynerchuk. the book is very aimed for women, so as a guy probably avoid this one and read a different book.

Long winded self serving content
I had hoped for some real step by step methods on how to Vlog. Instead much of the book seemed to be about her and her relationships. I remember little about the book other than how similar it was to root canal surgery.

Absolutely AMAZING!!!
I. LOVE. THIS. BOOK!!! Amy gives you the most amazing advice on how to get started. If you're thinking about starting a vlog, or if your current vlog is struggling, this is the book you need. Amy goes step-by-step through the actions that you need to take to make your vlog unbelievably awesome. I started recording before I ever finished the book. Now for editing, and to hit PUBLISH! Thank you, Amy!

Girl version of Gary vee(to an extent)
Love this girl! Great info! Love when authors narrate their own books especially when I watch them on YouTube. She reminds me of Gary vee. Direct, smart, real, and funny.I recommend this book to any youtuber, seasoned and new. One day I will be a guest/ interviewee(my YouTube channel: Life with Mel and Jen)on her channel because of her book and videos.

More motivation than how to
There is some good information that tells you why it's important to be consistent and what that means. There is some very basics like figuring out your why and basic equipment advice. There is no steps or how to set up and put out a video or channel. No strategy. No how to fit it all in, or anything of the like.

Felt like I was being coached
This is a great book! I was very encouraged to start blogging and equipped to start well. I have a strategy so I know my next steps. Although I am still nervous to start vlogging I know I can go back and listen as Amy coaches me through my hang ups.

Inspiring and personal with every word...
Amy makes everything she shares enjoyable to consume in whatever way she has fashioned it. 'Vlog Like a Boss' is no exception. From beginning to end this book will motivate you to push forward in whatever journey you are taking as a content creator. She is funny, transparent, and very knowledgeable. And when this book is all over and you hear her reading the acknowledgements with such authentic emotion, you just might cry too.

Wonderfully well done!

The content of this book is super insightful
I enjoyed listening to you Amy. I learned plenty and you kept me focused and entertained from the beginning til the end of this book. It is my first time to try audible and I picked the right content and narrator. I'm new at vlogging and I will certainly keep your advise in mind for my future vlog contents. Cheers!

Brilliant
It’s not only for someone wanting to make YouTube videos. You can adapt it to the new IGTV, Facebook, Snapchat and even Blogging. I love love love how she went right to the heart of the matter, helping the reader find there WHY, and laying it as the foundation for all the work to come. As I began reading the book I had no intentions to start vlogging right away, bur rather at some point in the future. I finished the book, and here I am planing my first steps already! Thanks Amy for creating a piece of art!
