Continue the journey as Daniel Fox, a simple IT guy, gets pulled into the dark underworld of Earth's magical secrets when an ancient artifact injects him with the original vampire's blood and forces him to survive at all costs. Given abilities and gifts beyond those of modern vampires, he must hide his capabilities if he wants to survive. Vampires will want to kill him for the powerful blood in his veins. Worse, the Mages would consider his abilities "blood magic," the greatest crime of all, the punishment for which would leave him begging for a quick death.
Not that I had any desire to die again. "Once was enough, thank you!" I couldn't believe it happened in Vegas, of all places! But at least that would allow me to gamble my future on a risky bet that could pay off big . . . or lead to my doom.
