Born of magic and science, Jax Edison walks a broken world in search of adventure. Love and death will touch them both, and Jax will find a peace she thought long denied her in Nikki's arms, but the last gift of a dying god king and the machinations of a novice assassin will threaten to unravel that peace as soon as it's won.
