Published with assistance from BePublished.org in November 2019, TUCKED AWAY is the 40th literary release by Mylia Tiye Mal Jaza and the author’s first fairy tale. A modern story inspired by the style of popular fairy tales from centuries past and contemporary retellings, Jaza wrote TUCKED AWAY to remind adults and children of the importance of paying attention, being brave, and showing kindness to yourself and others. “There are a lot of lessons stressed to children that many adults have yet to learn, or apply if they proclaim to have learned these lessons already,” Mylia explains. “I wanted to write a book in a style I’ve never tacked before, and I wanted to address a couple of things that I think are critical for personal development at any age. I hope I’ve accomplished those with this work, and TUCKED AWAY helps you convince others to be more aware and a little nicer to people in general too. After all, you never know what hardship someone else is having to endure by force.”
