Pretty soon after she takes on the case of a con artist in jail for armed robbery, she's whisked into hair-raising, heart stopping adventure involving a dead girl, a drug lord, and a series of difficult decisions. Dara Brown uses her raspy, sleepy voice to contrast with the plot's sinister allure. Simultaneously soothed by Brown's voice and disturbed by Salter's prose, this audiobook is definitely a ride not to be missed.
