Description

Douglas uncovers the underlying reasons for lack of consistency and helps traders overcome the ingrained mental habits that cost them money. He takes on the myths of the market and exposes them one by one teaching traders to look beyond random outcomes, to understand the true realities of risk, and to be comfortable with the "probabilities" of market movement that governs all market speculation.

Most important trading book I own!

I purchased this book several years ago when it was recommended to me. I wish I had read it then. The audible version of the book makes it much easier for me to complete a book cover to cover. This book is outstanding. Deals with the whole mental side of trading and to me that is 90% of trading. Highly recommend it!

Unexpectedly Good

Honestly, at first i didn’t quite like the strenuous explanations and long examples. But i decided to keep on reading and surprisingly, it all starts to make sense in the last few chapters. Very well thought out organization and i’d also say the content was something you don’t read/see/hear everyday. It does make sense why this is a classic for traders. Deserved props for Mark Douglas and Kaleo Griffith who made it very easy to digest such complex content.

The Real Deal

If you're ready to stop making excuses for losing money trading, check out this book. Contains little to no technical trading information but is the best resource on trading psychology that I have found.

Should Be In Every Trader's Library

The concepts in this book are not as simply to grasp and master as they may seem on the surface. They are rock-solid concepts that, when put into practice, produce consistent results. Dig deep enough and you will see that many of the concepts apply equally to other areas of our professional and personal life. I highly recommend this book.
