    Not much to add to most other reviews on this book: incredibly excited about the 1st book, only to be left in disappointment after the 2nd. The author’s move of turning from an entire first book from a single point of view, building up an incredible character, only to make him a secondary character with a rather boring side story was very sad. If this were a standalone book or the first one in a series, it would be good, very good. But the contrast and shift was too big in a trilogy. The narrating is very good although sometimes I struggled distinguishing between characters in conversations.
