À propos de ce contenu audio

Christmastime in an isolated country house and, following a flaming row in the kitchen, there’s murder inside.

When a much disliked visiting servant disappears without trace after playing Santa Claus, foul play is at once suspected - and foul play it proves to be. I initially found it hard to concentrate on the story. The 1rst chapter was a bit of a struggle, but then I thoroughly enjoyed the story, and never worked out 'whodunnit'. The characters are rather improbable! I could be tempted by a repeat try another book in the "Alleyn" series. The reading was very pleasant too. So by and large, it proved quite entertaining in the end.

Amusing story, despite a tinsel shortage.
