Description
What Happens When Women See What Men See?
You already know that your husband, boyfriend, or son is wired differently from you, but do you know what that really means? It means, among other things, that he's been given the gift of a unique visual wiring - and the challenges that come with it. In Through a Man's Eyes, Shaunti Feldhahn and Craig Gross team up to help open our eyes to the God-given visual nature of men. They address questions like:
- "Why are guys so visual - and what does that mean, anyway?"
- "How do I help my son navigate this sex-crazed culture?"
- "How dare someone tell a woman to watch what she wears! Isn't it a man's responsibility not to look?"
- "If he's tempted by visual images, is there something wrong with him? With me?"
- "My husband is an honorable guy, so why would he be tempted by porn?"
- "How can I talk to my husband or son about this? What can I do to support him?"
Through the compassion and candor in this audiobook, you can learn what men have long wished the women in their lives knew but didn't know how to explain - and see the difference this awareness makes.

Every woman must get this.
Excellent resource! Everyone should get this audible book or read this book. It is excellent, packed full of information. I've read her books in the past and they keep getting better - just when you think you've heard it all, you get a deeper understanding.

Eye opening. Not 4 those with PTSD Betrayal Trauma
This it was eye-opening. However. I have a few friends in councelling, so I have first hand knowedge that this book really isn't for everyone. For women who have wonderful husbands who just happen to be male and have eyeballs and testosterone.. for women who are simply curious about what the average visual guy goes through in a day, then this book is for you. However, if you are being treated for Betrayal Trauma PTSD, this book is not for you. The book is very eye-opening to the world of men's visual nature, yes. But it is also a little insensitive to the 50%-70 of women and wives who have Betrayal Trauma PTSD after their husband's porn addiction. Also, this book never touches on how deep the rabbit hole goes where porn is concerned and that it almost always leads to child pornography when an addiction is involved, no matter how nice or moral the addicted man is. In that aspect, I think this book is either a bit outdated or under researched. (For more info on the realities of porn, go to fightthenewdrug.com and if you have Betrayal Trauma PTSD read the book Intimate Deceptions by Dr. Sheri Keffer). This book seems to be a bit light-hearted in an area where a lot of women are in actual *psychological trauma* due to their spouse's porn use. If you're looking for a book that has a general, light approach to how men are visual, this is a great book for you. But if you're trying to understand how your husband has gotten himself into a horrible porn addiction, then you will be further traumatized and possibly triggered by this book.

Powerful, helpful and practical
My husband and I have weathered the storm of dealing with a porn problem. As a wife I was never able to really "get" the way his mind works and why he would seek that out in the first place. After reading this I am convinced that it truly doesn't have anything to do with me but with how the males mind works. I have come to find helpful ways to navigate past hurts; for my own self to embrace freedom with him. Freedom from the snare of pornography and lust for him as well as freedom from insecurity, fear and depression for me. Excellent book for every woman to read or listen to.

Amazing book
Very easy to listen to and quite compelling. All women would do well to listen to better understand the nature of men. It is even worthwhile for men to listen to realize that your nature is not intrinsically bad.

So Enlightening!
This book was very helpful for many reasons!
1. I can now better understand what my husband experiences on a daily basis and be more understanding when we have open dialogue about it.
2. I have a young son. I feel more empowered to help guide him through struggles he will experience
3. I have a daughter. I can help her understand a new layer of thinking before getting dressed each day…as well as myself.
4. We do Christian Coaching and have encountered couples dealing with these issues. This is a great tool for helping them understand the why behind the behavior as they heal.

religious sexist book
book is horrible, more of the same, men are visual women need to understand and pray, it doesn't bring anything solution. The book treats women as saints without sexual desire and says that's why we don't understand men. l It doesn't treat the root or the cure, well women the fault of the man's perversion is just pornography and masturbation if you want to learn something good go to the fight the new drug website. com and oh yes you will find content not all this nonsense that this crazy woman is talking, don’t you play with porn , don’t let your kids play with porn don’t let your husband play with porn this is the answers not this trash book.

Absolute regressive filth.
Absolute filth. As a father of two daughters I find this book deeply disturbing conservative Christian rubbish.
