Sarah is broke and alone with a head full of questions about her husband’s sudden death. A stranger comes to her door and wants to rent a room. He is so strange, she contacts her pastor to talk about it. The pastor slips her a sticky note - "They can hear you talk" - those words accelerate this pause-resisting novel toward a conclusion like no other in the broad spectrum of science fiction.
Sarah is chased and beaten. She is a survivor. Once this middle aged woman gets mad it's the sole emotion she has, and once the adrenaline drops she's a terrified human. The eventual outcome is nothing anyone who listens for an escape, relaxation, or fun could foresee. This is a unique novel packed full of twisting action propelled by movement and humor.
