Tiffy Moore needs a cheap flat, and fast. Leon Twomey works nights and needs cash. Their friends think they're crazy, but it's the perfect solution: Leon occupies the one-bed flat while Tiffy's at work in the day, and she has the run of the place the rest of the time. But with obsessive ex-boyfriends, demanding clients at work, wrongly imprisoned brothers and, of course, the fact that they still haven't met yet, they're about to discover that if you want the perfect home you need to throw the rule book out the window.

Kristen Petersen doesn't do drama, will fight to the death for her friends, and has no room in her life for guys who just don't get her. She's also keeping a big secret: facing a medically necessary procedure that will make it impossible for her to have children. Planning her best friend's wedding is bittersweet for Kristen - especially when she meets the best man, Josh Copeland. He's funny, sexy, never offended by her mile-wide streak of sarcasm, and always one chicken enchilada ahead of her hangry. Even her dog, Stuntman Mike, adores him. The only catch: Josh wants a big family.

Histoire
In Truly Madly Guilty, Liane Moriarty takes on the foundations of our lives: marriage, sex, parenthood, and friendship. She shows how guilt can expose the fault lines in the most seemingly strong relationships, how what we don't say can be more powerful than what we do, and how sometimes it is the most innocent of moments that can do the greatest harm.

Description
Eileen is sick of being 79.
Leena's tired of life in her 20s.
Maybe it's time they swapped places....
When overachiever Leena Cotton is ordered to take a two-month sabbatical after blowing a big presentation at work, she escapes to her grandmother Eileen's house for some overdue rest. Eileen is newly single and about to turn 80. She'd like a second chance at love, but her tiny Yorkshire village doesn't offer many eligible gentlemen.
Once Leena learns of Eileen's romantic predicament, she proposes a solution: a two-month swap. Eileen can live in London and look for love. Meanwhile Leena will look after everything in rural Yorkshire. But with gossiping neighbours and difficult family dynamics to navigate up north, and trendy London flatmates and online dating to contend with in the city, stepping into one another's shoes proves more difficult than either of them expected.
Leena learns that a long-distance relationship isn't as romantic as she hoped it would be and then there is the annoyingly perfect - and distractingly handsome - school teacher, who keeps showing up to outdo her efforts to impress the local villagers. Back in London, Eileen is a huge hit with her new neighbours, but is her perfect match nearer home than she first thought?

Beautiful story and very touching characters
I recently discovered Beth O'leary and boy do I love her! Her books are funny, refreshing, and yet still full of lessons or little important stuff to remember. I love the humor of her characters, the strength and the beautiful simplicity yet complexity of all of them. Each is more than what they may seem at first and each bring something to the story.

uplifting
This is a positive uplifting story! A bit silly, but in a good way. Witty language that made me laugh out loud on the street. So what if it's a little predictable. A feel-good book for the young and old. It's not a frivolous hahaha book in any way though, it made me think about and re-evaluate my own priorities.

Narrator
Book was fun to hear but I was hearing the narrator’s mouth clicks all through! I had to stop listening several times so I cohld focus on something else.
The books itself is really nice and fun to hear. Light, yet has a message behind it.

Brilliant!
Narrators were perfect. Story was so well written. Characters were believable and relatable. I had genuine moments of joy and fun, with a few laugh out loud moments too. I thoroughly recommend this story. It’s an A+!

easy and funny love story
Really nice book, sometimes funny, I love how it shows the world from young end old perspective, the love story in the book is expected from the beginning so there is not much anticipation, but still a great listen :)

Lovely story, one terrible speaker
The person reading the older persons also made me cringe (as someone else pointed out before me). Loved the other one, though, so I managed to finish listening to the book. No huge surprises in the plot, but sometimes that is exactly what you need.

A bit disappointing
I found the book too emotional and a little "mushy" with a predictable ending. No surprises at all. There were so many characters; it was difficult to remember who they all were. I struggled to finish it and was disappointed as I had so enjoyed "The Flatshare". On the positive side, the author was trying to deliver some important messages (e.g. coping with loss). I'll try the next book though (fingers crossed).

Second book I absolutely loved
Love the books from Beth O‘Leary so far. And that the main character have different voices each time makes it so much more authentic. The story is always relatable and even for a foreigner like me easy to understand and follow
